Day 1

Arrival in Petrozavodsk.

The city tour by bus. The capital of Karelia - the city of Petrozavodsk - was founded in 1703 by the Emperor Peter the Great to provide support in his war against Sweden (1700-1721). Saint-Petersburg, the capital of Russia at that time, dates back to the same year. In spite of its three century history Petrozavodsk remains an eternally young and dynamically developing town.

Day 2

Breakfast in the hotel.

The trip to the historic Karelian village of Kinerma.

Walking tour around the village with the visit to the authentic chapel.

In the village one can still feel much life, talk with the local people and enjoy Karelian nature.

Karelian lunch.

The visit to the waterfall of Kivach. Walking around the waterfall with the excursion.

Moving to the first Russian spa Martial Waters. The walking tour.

Coming back to Petrozavodsk.

Dinner in the hotel.

Overnight in the hotel.

Day 3

Breakfast in the hotel.

Check out.

The trip to the Island of Kizhi by hydrofoil.

The excursion around the Kizhi Architectural Ensemble and the historic village of the 19^th century.

Free time on the Island.

Lunch (a packed meal).

Departure from the Island of Kizhi.

Return to Petrozavodsk.

Sightseeing in Petrozavodsk.

Dinner in the local restaurant.

Transfer to the railway station.

Leaving Petrozavodsk by train.
