Arrival in Saint–Petersburg/Moscow.
The guide meets the tourists at the airport.

Transfer to the railway station.
Departure to Petrozavodsk by train.

Day 2
|
Arrival in Petrozavodsk – the capital of Karelia.
Breakfast.
Going to the Island of Kizhi by hydrofoil (1,5 hour). The excursion around the Kizhi Architectual Ensemble and the historic village of the 19th century.
Coming back to Petrozavodsk.
Lunch.
Transfer to the village of Kinerma (105 km from Petrozavodsk).
Accommodation in the guest house.

|
Breakfast.
The excursion to the village of Kinerma.
Kinerma is an authentic Karelian village. This small 17 house village is a unique complex monument of folk wooden architecture of the Karelian-Livviks. In the centre of the village there is a worship fir-tree grove with the Smolensk Mother of God chapel built in the 18 century.

The workshop with baking traditional Karelian pies – kalitki.
Lunch (fish grilled near the lake).

Departure to Kem by bus.
Lunch (a packed meal).
On the way to Kem visiting the ancient rock drawings – petrogliphy, on the bank
of the Vyg river.

Leaving Kem for the Islands of Solovky by hydrofoil.
The excursion around the central architectural complex, the Solovetsky monastery, the Transfiguration cathedral, household buildings, a refectory, turrets, the exhibition “The History of the Solovky camp”.

The Russian bath-house.

The boat excursion along the lakes and the canals of the Islands of Solovetsky.

The excursion in the labyrinths.
