The village of Kinerma

 The festival #KalevalaMusicWheel activities of the village from 31.10.2015 to 15.11.2015:

- the walking tour around the village with the visit to the chapel and the exhibition about the history of the village;

- tea with Karelian pies.

    The village of Kinerma is located in the Pryazhinsky district in 105 km from Petrozavodsk and in 6 km from the settlement of Vedlozero, not far from Lake Ladoga and not far from the international tourist route “The Blue Road”.

      It is possible to walk around the village for half an hour. There are 16 houses, 7 bath-houses, the old cemetery and the chapel there.

      The history of the village dates back to the year of 1563. Today Kinerma is a unique complex of the old 19^th century Karelian architecture. It is a special tourist highlight of Karelia, and it is included in the list of the wonders of the Finno Ugric world.
